About the Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to provide psychological support and services to families of infants or toddlers with or at risk for developmental delay(s). As a key member of our Early Intervention team, you'll work closely with families to address problems in their child's growth and development, promoting advocacy and connecting them with community resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with families to establish and work towards family-level goals, promoting parenting strategies, behaviors, and social/emotional needs.
  • Provide service coordination among a multi-disciplinary team of therapists and educators, ensuring seamless support for families.
  • Support families in promoting their child's development, parenting strategies, behaviors, social/emotional needs, and establishing routines through the coaching model.
  • Work with school departments and other providers through the transition process, promoting parent advocacy as clients prepare to discharge.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a LCSW or LICSW by the Rhode Island Department of Health Board of Social Work Examiners.
  • Experience providing support to children and/or families with complex dynamics and/or high levels of needs.
  • A valid Driver's License and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
