Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, including researching and writing scientific publications.
  • Support IP due diligences, patent landscape analyses, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings, and other IP matters related to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with our attorneys to provide expert analysis and support on complex IP issues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of patent law and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in the life sciences (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Virology, Bioengineering, or Organic Chemistry).
  • Experience researching, writing, and reading scientific publications in a relevant area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Superior academic background and a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility, and client interaction.
  • Ability to become registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office within the next year.
