Comtech LLC is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, with a focus on building monitoring and control systems (BMC) and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tier-2 technical support for BMC devices, consoles, and IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the physical installation and troubleshooting of IT devices, including switches, routers, servers, workstations, and laptops.
- Act as the IT liaison and technical point of contact for vendors, property managers, and on-site personnel.
- Coordinate and facilitate BMC integration/implementation projects, including project planning and documentation.
- Survey BMC systems and network infrastructure at various buildings.
- Modify/develop network diagrams and supporting documentation, as needed.
- Travel frequently within the region, as needed.
- Prior experience in tier-2 IT support, with a focus on remote and on-site support.
- Hands-on experience with physical hardware, including racking, stacking, and installation of network components.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, NetBios, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and LDAP.
- Working knowledge of Windows IIS web services.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of server hardware and uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
