Key Responsibilities- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
- Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits policies to new employees.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Monthly benefits reconciliation
- Assist the HR Manager with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS system.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit required government reports related to payroll and benefits.
- Assist in the preparation of annual benefits statements and other required documentation.
- Accurately process bi-monthly payroll for all employees.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
- Provide support to employees regarding payroll and benefits issues.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
- Participate in employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration or other HR-related roles
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- HR Professional certifications a plus
