HCM Sales Professional

Paylocity is a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, empowering businesses to automate and streamline HR and payroll processes. As an HCM Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in prospecting and developing emerging market business sales relationships with potential clients, closing new and expanded sales agreements, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate net-new business opportunities, leveraging Paylocity's expertise and industry knowledge
- Schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients
- Prepare and present proposals, providing follow-up throughout the sales process
- Organize and complete documentation required for clients to transition to Paylocity's system
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for clients
- Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources
- Build and maintain relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources
- Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity's services
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience in a sales position
- Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
- Ability to maintain high activity standards
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections and unexpected situations
- Customer service orientation
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet
- Mobility required for sitting, standing, and walking
- Mobility required for driving to prospective client sites
- Manual/finger dexterity required in both hands to operate a computer keyboard and manipulate small objects
- Sensory ability required to see, hear, and touch
- Mental effort required for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $95,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan, annual bonus, and restricted stock until grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
