**Position Overview:** As a Senior Fleet Technician at Cesra Arzneimittel, you will leverage your expertise to conduct maintenance, preventive measures, and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**
This is a skilled position requiring advanced technical knowledge.

  • Execute mechanic tasks utilizing independent judgment to apply established procedures and practices to specific scenarios.
  • Perform comprehensive servicing and repairs on a variety of equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company protocols.
  • Guide and mentor junior mechanics, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues through visual inspections and computer diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and repairs performed.
  • Utilize software to track repair orders and ensure accurate completion of weekly timesheets.
  • Conduct safety inspections and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Adhere to regulations set forth by relevant authorities, including DOT and OSHA.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance safety skills and knowledge.
  • Exhibit regular and predictable attendance.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of a vocational/technical program or apprenticeship in vehicle and equipment repair, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience, or five years of experience in heavy truck, automotive, or equipment repair.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment daily, with appropriate licensing.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

**Skills and Abilities:**
Candidates should possess:

  • A strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Effective teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and accurate documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Experience with mechanical tools and testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and equipment design, operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

**Physical Requirements:**
The role requires:

  • Physical activities including reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Awareness of potential hazards associated with mechanical work.
