About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Management Professional to lead our culinary operations at Beecher Community School in Flint, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide culinary leadership and direction to a team of food service professionals.
  • Develop and implement menu planning and program execution strategies to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staff management and training, to ensure high-quality food service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through innovative menu offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to manage catering processes and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain student and client satisfaction through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a school nutrition program.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Financial computer skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of food production systems.
