About the Role

HonorHealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Customer Navigation Center team as a Customer Navigation Coordinator. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize care coordination, appointment scheduling, and support in-network referrals
  • Schedule appointments in the electronic medical record (EMR) in alignment with scheduling guidelines based on patient convenience, location, and insurance plans
  • Facilitate insurance verification and collect co-payments
  • Transfer calls to non-employed specialty physician offices as warranted
  • Recommend next best actions or cross-promotional opportunities to customers to educate on appropriate additional services or health education campaigns
  • Document all caller information in the customer relations management (CRM) tool for marketing follow-up
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and appointment scheduling requests regarding medical services, specialty referrals, and wayfinding
  • Assist customers in enrolling and increasing customer utilization of the My Chart App (EPIC EMR)
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute (WPM)
