Senior Patient Services Specialist/CCVH

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front clinic patient flow. As a primary contact for patients, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, preparing necessary paperwork, receiving patients, and maintaining records. Additionally, you may be responsible for processing charges for clinic services, filing insurance claims, responding to requests for information from patients and insurance companies, and maintaining related information for the department. You may also be responsible for handling cash transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in a medical office setting with insurance verification, authorizations, and referrals
- Experience in a medical office setting working with patient scheduling and payment collections
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of customer service, office, or related experience, with 2 of those years in a healthcare setting preferred. Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
