Key Responsibilities- Assist patients during the registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
- Complete financial clearance functions, including insurance eligibility and billing.
- Work closely with the PAS supervisor/manager to ensure efficient and effective patient flow.
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medical billing codes to accurately complete tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
- 3 years of experience in Patient Access or a related field.
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems and medical billing codes.
- Knowledge of Epic Applications and medical terminology.
