About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Shared Services. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth registration and arrival process for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
  • Complete financial clearance functions under the direction of the PAS supervisor/manager.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilize medical terminology and insurance eligibility systems to facilitate efficient patient registration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Patient Access or a related field.
  • Knowledge of medical billing codes and Epic Applications.
