Job Summary

The Director of Food and Beverage is a key member of the Oak View Group team, responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our venues. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of kitchen staff, ensure high-quality food and beverage service, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with the company's culinary vision.
  • Manage food and labor costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget and maintaining a high level of profitability.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our kitchens meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and culinary concepts.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in food and beverage management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
