**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Spare Time Entertainment. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work closely with assigned food servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Welcoming guests, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus.
  • Wrapping utensils in napkins and clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
  • Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
  • Preparing tables for arriving guests by wiping up spills, clearing away crumbs, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments.
  • Delivering food to tables when servers are busy.
  • Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of any complaints.
  • Assist with beverage preparation and communicate food and drink requests to assigned servers.
  • Interact professionally with guests, utilizing Spare Time Entertainment's Service Standards.
  • Assist in serving guests, utilizing Spare Time Entertainment's Steps of Service.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and make suggestions to guests.
  • Promote knowledge of the location's features and upcoming events.
  • Patrol assigned section to respond to guests' needs and take action to correct any problems.
  • Help with food preparation, when necessary.
  • Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist with waste control and maintain clean equipment and working areas.
  • Complete shift opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain organized and restocked areas, and communicate inventory shortages to supervisors.
  • Maintain current certifications required by state and those offered by Spare Time Entertainment.
  • Report any company violations to management.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous waitstaff experience preferred.
  • SERVSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred or required if mandated by the state.
