Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in assisting internal stakeholders and managing mobile devices associated with IT products and services. Key responsibilities include:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts, particularly the TCP/IP protocol suite, along with familiarity with DNS, WINS, and DHCP.
  • Support for personal computers and mobile devices across Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Windows platforms.
  • Collaboration with technical teams to contribute to the development of optimal solutions.
  • Documentation of business processes, configurations, and relevant functional specifications.
  • Assistance to internal clients in resolving issues, gathering requirements, and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within a diverse IT team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver's license.

Microsoft Proficiency:

  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365, including security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating system settings and configurations.

Service Desk Expertise:

  • Adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to identify critical system issues with significant business impact and escalate appropriately.
  • Tracking of all tasks through a ticketing system.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues.

Mobile Device Management Skills:

  • Understanding of device connectivity to corporate networks and the internet.
  • Knowledge of Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile platforms, including their applications and configuration requirements.
  • Team-oriented with a capacity to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and system enhancements.
  • Positive and approachable demeanor.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft systems.
