Job Summary

We are Advantage SCI, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Woman Owned business, seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering premiere security and intelligence services to our government customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Assist project leadership and stakeholders in planning and scheduling projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Performance Monitoring and Measurement: Provide support in monitoring and measuring project performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Contract Suitability and HSPD-12: Assist with contract suitability and HSPD-12 duties, including incident management, problem solving, and task performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Produce high-quality documentation, including reports, special studies, procedure development, security training programs, and assessments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in stakeholder briefings, required meetings, and related project support services.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing research and analysis regarding personnel suitability-related policies, practices, and procedures, with a focus on improving efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Prepare detailed written reports and recommendations regarding research and analysis findings, and conduct suitability adjudication-related training as needed.
  • Compliance and Security: Maintain personnel security reference materials and OHS policy and procedure for handling classified, Privacy Act protected, and sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in one or more security and/or intelligence fields, including technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operational security.
  • Complex Program Experience: Experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is highly desirable.
  • Citizenship and Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and pass a DHS Favorable Suitability/Fitness determination, as well as a background investigation to be cleared to work.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions
  • Office Environment: The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • Physical Demands: Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods, as well as stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Travel and Vaccination Requirements: May require travel within the US and must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
