Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership in Strategy: Direct the enhancement of national command, control, and communications (C3) systems through innovative 5G solutions.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and refine 5G modernization plans, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) objectives.
  • Research and Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments of new 5G technologies and their potential integration into the DoD's research and engineering initiatives.
  • Program Support: Provide expert guidance from initial concept through to technology deployment, including involvement in capability demonstrations and advising on operational concepts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop and present reports to DoD leadership, representing the division in authorized forums and collaborative teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: A Master's degree in a STEM discipline, with a strong preference for advanced studies in telecommunications or 5G.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in engineering or cybersecurity, with at least 5 years of recent experience specifically in telecommunications or 5G.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is essential.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of command, control, communications (C3) engineering, cybersecurity, 5G, electronic warfare, and cross-domain solutions.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities, with a proven track record in managing complex projects and diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as CWNE or CCIE Wireless are highly valued.
  • Experience: Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and a thorough understanding of 5G technologies and services.
