Role Overview: As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial and accounting functions within our organization. This position will involve collaborating closely with various teams to enhance our processes and systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and generate reports within our financial systems to streamline monthly reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Ensure that all reports align with the Accounting system.
  • Investigate and document any discrepancies identified during reconciliation and take necessary actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, and IT departments.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and participate in problem-solving sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors affecting revenue or inventory valuations.
  • Support critical monthly closing processes.
  • Analyze and assist in daily revenue and cost reconciliations between primary systems and reporting tools.
  • Facilitate daily refund and return reconciliations.
  • Assist with gift card reconciliations.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing for new automations and workflows.
  • Help document and implement change management processes within the ERP.
  • Assist in preparing audit requests and documenting monthly procedures.
  • Reconcile data utilized by various departments, including Accounting, Finance, and Planning.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience with financial systems, particularly in generating reports and managing documentation.
  • Experience with multi-subsidiary structures is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Functional expertise in areas such as Accounting/Finance, Order to Cash, AP/AR, Revenue, and GAAP.
  • Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is a plus.
  • Experience with integration platforms like Celigo is advantageous.
  • Background in high-volume eCommerce and retail environments is beneficial.
