About the Opportunity

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting and Finance Intern. This internship will provide comprehensive exposure to accounting and operational finance, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and supplier/vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of journal entries
  • Develop working knowledge of invoice processing
  • Participate in the twice-weekly payment (check) run
  • Assist in the preparation of customer invoices
  • Participate in fixed asset audits
  • Ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
  • Availability year-round

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous exposure to accounting (courses or work experience)
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Basic Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word knowledge
