Clinical Medical Records Specialist

As a Clinical Medical Records Abstractor, you will play a vital role in our mission by transcribing and prioritizing dictations and complicated pathology consultation reports. You will also contact physician's offices concerning patient diagnoses and ensure effective utilization of materials, staff, and financial resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and prioritize dictations and complicated pathology consultation reports
- Contact physician's offices concerning patient diagnoses
- Ensure effective utilization of materials, staff, and financial resources
- Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma/GED
- 1+ years Advanced clerical/secretarial experience in an office setting
- Experience in a position performing related duties
