Estimated Salary:$35 - $44 USD per hour

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety, with a passion for creating a safe and compliant workplace. They will be responsible for overseeing the safety of job sites and all staff, conducting risk assessments and enforcing preventative measures, and providing regular reports and updates to the Safety Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Oversight: The successful candidate will oversee the safety of job sites and all staff, ensuring compliance with EHS guidelines and regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Prevention: They will conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventative measures to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: The candidate will provide CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, or other training as needed for all Staff.
- Incident Investigations and Corrective Actions: They will assist with incident investigations and corrective actions, ensuring that root causes are identified and addressed.
- Communication and Coordination: The candidate will assist with reviewing and maintaining existing policies and measures and updating them according to legislation and current practices, establish weekly toolbox trainings, and ensure compliance.
- Inspections and Reporting: They will inspect job sites to identify issues and/or non-conformity and provide regular reports and updates to the Safety Manager.
- Other Duties: The candidate may be required to fill the role of Safety Officer as needed, operate vehicles and other equipment safely, and adhere to safety protocols.
Required Education and Experience:
- A High School diploma and/or equivalent education and experience
- 3+ years of relevant construction experience
- 1-3 years experience in instruction or teaching minimum CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety or equivalent work experience
- OSHA 10 certification
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $35 - $44 USD per hour
