Job Overview

The Electrical Systems Specialist will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches, and transformers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine the method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment.
  2. Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  3. Requisition material, tools, and equipment, and maintain inventory.
  4. Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
  5. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve the situation.
  7. Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system.
  8. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  9. Effectively communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management.
  10. Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed.
  11. Drive company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws.
  12. Operate vehicles and other equipment safely; adhere to safety protocols; report hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. 4-8 years' experience in the field or related area.
  3. Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
  4. Valid driver's license in good standing.

Estimated salary: $34,400 - $51,600 per year.
