Master Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with a focus on data center infrastructure.

As a Master Electrician at Compu Dynamics, you will play a critical role in the design, construction, and maintenance of some of the world's leading data center facilities.

$25-$38 USD per hour

The Master Electrician will be responsible for determining the method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, interpreting plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the most efficient method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment (AC/DC motors, control panels, PLCs, switches, and transformers)
• Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Requisition material, tools, and equipment and maintain inventory
• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
• Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve the situation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears
• Effectively communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management
• Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed
• Drive company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws
• Operate vehicles and other equipment safely; adhere to safety protocols; report hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4-8 years of experience in the field or related area
• A Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience
• A valid driver's license in good standing

Candidates with experience in data center operations and maintenance will be given preference.
