Job Summary

This is a full-time non-exempt position supporting the Army National Guard Mission Command Training Support Program. The Simulation Systems Technician will provide technical expertise to the program, ensuring the smooth operation of simulation systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for simulation systems, including FIRESIM/ExCIS, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE SENGEN, and WARSIM.
  • Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain setup, testing, and troubleshooting guides for simulation systems.
  • Provide formal classroom instruction to operators on simulation systems.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in simulation systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools, and Mission Command Systems (MCSs).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
  • Experience working in high-security environments and managing classified equipment.
  • Must meet DOD Baseline and Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements Level II.

Education Requirements

Minimum AA/AS degree in a relevant field (BA/BS preferred).

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security + certification.
