About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team at Trinity Consultants. As a key member of our Petrochemical Industry Group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality client relationships through sales, project management, and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Monitor, verify, and ensure the technical accuracy and quality of project-related work, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Guide staff in efficient progress and timely completion of consulting projects, maintaining business development relationships through sales calls and professional networking.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Manage preparation of air permit application packages and associated regulatory agency communications, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  4. Technical Expertise: Conduct detailed engineering design reviews to ensure new equipment is designed and installed according to permit requirements, proficient in environmental consulting skills, including NSR, Title V, and PSD air quality permitting.
  5. Team Leadership: Directly supervise 1-3 employees in Environmental Consulting, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, or related Atmospheric/Environmental Science, and at least two to four years related experience and/or training.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Must have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge relating to permit applicability, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements.
  • Computer Literacy: Must have computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft office software package.
