Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Quandary Consultants, LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of multiple, simultaneous projects for different clients in various industries.
  • Coordinate scheduling, data transfer, and reporting with other field staff and project managers.

  • Demonstrated experience with increasing responsibilities leading teams in a management role.

  • Interpret and manage spatial data using ESRI suite of products, Google Earth, and similar platforms.
Requirements
  • Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audience.
  • Understanding and interpretation of soil and water quality laboratory data.
  • Ability to work in locations with rough terrain and enter and work within facilities with limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities.
  • Self-sufficiency, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Interest and proficiency in investigative work, with high attention to detail.
  • Effective self-leadership with results orientation.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, geology, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • 6-12 years of environmental consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with federal, state, and local EHS regulatory compliance.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Professional Environmental Auditor, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Material Manager, and/or other related environmental certifications.
  • Federal, State, and local regulatory knowledge.
  • Willing to attend environmental training courses on a variety of topics.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Travel to client sites, some overnight travel when necessary.
  • Working hours can involve working extra hours and weekends.
  • Lifting heavy objects, including weight maximums (i.e., up to 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
  • Repetitive tasks that are physically demanding.
  • Walking long distance over rugged terrain.
