About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Allied Universal. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols within and around the facility to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive information.
  • Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site.
  • Greet guests and employees, assisting where necessary, and escort visitors and contractors.
  • Secure ingress and egress points, and safeguard classified information.
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances.
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms, and provide first aid as necessary.
Requirements
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state).
  • Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance.
  • Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
