Bilingual Case Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Case Coordinator to join our team at Arena Technical Resources, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general administrative and analytic tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of our team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review, assess, and complete third-party release recommendations related to family reunification options.
  • Visit care provider sites to conduct weekly staffing reviews.
  • Confer weekly with customer staff and direct care providers to discuss cases employing perspectives from child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental health in adherence with policy.
  • Write reports on progress and tracking/elevating issues related to program trends.
  • Assist care providers to recognize potential victims of trafficking.
  • Provide technical assistance to grantees related to policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • MA/MS in Social Work or a social science-related discipline + 2 years postgraduate child welfare experience, or + 3 years of post-undergraduate child welfare experience, or
  • BA/BS in Social Work or a social science-related discipline and + 5 years of post-degree demonstrated child welfare experience, or
  • BA/BS in a non-social science-related discipline and + 7 years of post-degree child welfare experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (will be tested)
  • Prior experience working with immigrant youth and families is highly preferred (case management, psycho-social assessments, direct mental health therapy, etc.). Juvenile justice experience can be a differentiator.

Working Schedule and Travel:

  • Working schedule parameters projected to be M-F 8-5 with some degree of flexibility for weekend and/or evening hours required of position holder.
  • Some local and/or distance travel may be required for this position.
