Automotive Client Retention and Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Client Retention and Sales Specialist to join our team at Queensboro Toyota. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a critical role in achieving client retention and sales goals by building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional service.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for sourcing clients through CRM system access and evaluating potential opportunities for trade-in sales.
- Your goal will be to generate sales leads, make contact with interested clients, assess their needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
- You will work closely with clients to set appointments for trade evaluations and assist them in selecting a replacement vehicle that meets their requirements.
- In addition, you will introduce clients with an interest in a vehicle to our Sales Consultant team members who can assist with vehicle demonstrations and finalization of sales transactions.
- If a client has no interest in another vehicle, you may need to solicit dealership purchase of their vehicle.
- You will consult with our Finance team and follow up with clients after their visit to ensure their satisfaction.
- Able to consistently meet or exceed the goal of satisfying the transportation needs of our Clients.
- You will proactively work with Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and/or General Manager to develop action plans to improve performance and attend all sales meetings.
- You must sell, lease, and deliver a pre-agreed monthly minimum amount of vehicles.
- Promptly and professionally greet, offer assistance, or direction to, all Clients entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Assist each Client in selecting a vehicle by asking questions, listening carefully to their responses, and matching their expectations with our vehicles by explaining product performance, application, benefits, and optional equipment.
- Offer test drives to all Clients.
- Fully knowledgeable about equity and values, able to explain depreciation to Clients.
- Ensure a member of the sales management team meets each Client.
- Forward all closed deals to Finance and Insurance Manager, along with properly completed paperwork.
- Follow up on post-delivery items such as tag/title work, 'we-owes,' and special requests to maintain high Client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Ideal background includes previous experience as a Sales Consultant, Internet Sales Consultant, Auto Finance Manager, or Auto Sales Manager.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Driver's License Required.
