Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Manage equipment schedules and perform pre-acceptance inspections to develop PM procedures.
  • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly within established intervals.
  • Respond promptly to clinical department calls to evaluate and resolve equipment issues.
  • Research and order repair parts within budget parameters.
  • Provide informal training to equipment users and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
  • Valid driver's license for field service positions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications for tracking service histories and producing reports.
