About the Role
At Agiliti Health, Inc., we're dedicated to delivering exceptional medical equipment management services to hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician I, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers' medical devices are functioning properly and meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections, maintenance, calibration, and repair services on various medical devices.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and computer data entry to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff on equipment features, functionality, and other related topics.
Requirements
- An associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification.
- Basic computer skills, including understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license and a safe driving record based on Agiliti's policies.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours to support our 24/7 schedule.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 75 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
