Biomedical Equipment Technician III

At TriMedx, we're seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you'll be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex biomedical equipment and systems
  • Advise administrative, medical, and clinical staff on the safe use and proper operation of clinical equipment
  • Develop specifications for the selection of new equipment
  • Mentor other associates to contribute to department improvement and development

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, and networking concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience
  • Technical Certification (CBET) preferred
