Job Summary

CCG Business Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Plant Utilities Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of all plant utilities. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of critical utility systems, including Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration, Plant Water, Steam Generation, Pneumatic, Fire Protection, and HVAC Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and food safety policies, and ensure team members adhere to these standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth mechanical and operational knowledge of plant utility systems, enabling effective training and troubleshooting assistance to technicians.
  • Training and Development: Establish and maintain an efficient onboarding training program, and train and develop utility technicians to foster their growth and knowledge.
  • CMMS/SAP System: Thoroughly utilize the current CMMS/SAP system for data entry, work management, and train other team members in its proper use.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Provide support for technicians through preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs, fostering and maintaining Win/Win partnerships.
  • Project Management: Initiate orders for parts/materials as needed and provide follow-up.
  • Employee Supervision: Supervise and manage employees to guarantee acceptable productivity and job performance.
  • PSM/Safety/Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all applicable PSM/Safety/Environmental policies and procedures while maintaining a proper safety attitude/awareness.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and personnel development in both operations and personnel.
  • Organizational Change: Play a pivotal role in implementing organizational change, both technologically and procedurally, in support of the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in the Industrial Refrigeration field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in supervisory experience; 5 years of prior experience in a mechanical/refrigeration-related field preferred, including an in-depth knowledge of ammonia refrigeration processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with CCMS systems, Microsoft Office Systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and be results-oriented.
