Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on our plant machinery and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and a Journeyman's card in the mechanical repair field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on complex and sophisticated plant machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Enhance machine utilization and improve process repeatability
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and document breakdown maintenance
  • Partner with management, engineering, and vendors on new machinery and equipment selection, specifications, and operator training
  • Act in a lead capacity and provide direction to other employees
  • Participate in machine and process design improvements
  • Support environmental and recycling efforts
  • Adhere to all corporate and department safety guidelines and procedures
  • Document repair, set-ups, maintenance, PM, and safety procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Journeyman's card in the mechanical repair field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a MillerKnoll forklift, aerial platform, or other equipment operator's license
  • Ability to perform all essential duties of the position with or without accommodations
