Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in writing and editing technical documents, including business proposals, reports, user manuals, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contractual requirements and internal documentation needs.
  • Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists, project management, and clients, ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.
  • Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in all project documentation and deliverables.
  • Maintain and update the in-house style guide, ensuring adherence through regular review cycles.


Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or technology, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical writing for complex federal and state IT projects. You should have advanced skillset with Microsoft products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio, along with template development and maintenance.
