Lincolnton, North Carolina, United States Atrium Health Full time

Position Overview

This role qualifies for a relocation incentive for candidates residing beyond the specified distance from the facility. In addition to the relocation incentive, new staff members at Atrium Health are entitled to comprehensive benefits packages and paid time off.

Atrium Health Lincoln is a modern healthcare facility that emphasizes community wellness. Our 101-bed hospital and medical office building was established with the community's needs in mind, featuring:

  • A connection to local heritage through the exterior, which incorporates 300,000 reclaimed bricks from a historic mill.
  • A scenic 1.2-mile walking trail that meanders around the campus, passing through natural wooded areas and serene ponds.
  • An artistic collaboration titled 'A Sense of Place' that illustrates the transformation of the original farmland into a healing environment.

Lincolnton is a quaint town nestled in the foothills of the NC Mountains, offering numerous hiking trails and outdoor activities. This tranquil, rural area is ideal for families and individuals seeking a close-knit community, while also being conveniently located near the vibrant city of Charlotte, NC, and the lively Lake Norman area.

Atrium Health Lincoln provides extensive maternity services in a nurturing and comfortable setting. Our birthing center, New Beginnings, features spacious rooms where mothers can stay throughout their entire experience, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. We prioritize mother-baby couplet care, allowing newborns to be cared for at the mother's bedside by the same nurse. Additionally, we have a level 2 nursery for infants needing specialized attention, supported by a pediatric hospitalist.
