Job Responsibilities
The RN Clinical Nurse I delivers professional nursing care through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with facility or departmental policies and protocols under the guidance of the nursing leader. This role also involves maintaining a safe work environment and executing all job responsibilities safely while ensuring clinical and professional competency appropriate to the patient population served.

Physical Requirements
This position requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds when handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication. Candidates should possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, along with finger dexterity. Critical thinking skills and the ability to concentrate are essential, as is the capacity to respond promptly to changes in patient and unit conditions. Physical Abilities Testing is mandatory.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory per policy guidelines. A valid RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of practice is required, or if applicable, compliance with National License Compact (NLC) state requirements.
