Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Register Patients: Welcome patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our facility.
  • Manage Patient Information: Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Collect Co-Pays and Fees: Collect and log all co-pays and fees in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer and Transfer Calls: Answer and transfer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule, reschedule, or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Provide Patient Orientation: Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
  • Coordinate with Back-Office Staff: Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
  • Safeguard Patient Property and Information: Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Respect Company Property: Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
  • Professional Behavior: Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Cultural Sensitivities: Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Cooperative Working Relationships: Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills: Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Strong Multitasking and Communication Skills: Must be able to demonstrate strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Experience Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Must have experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge: Must have medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
Pay and Benefits

RadNet Inland Empire offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
