Are you eager to leverage your technical expertise while contributing to impactful High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the Intelligence Community? Our organization is at the forefront of developing high-performance computing environments, utilizing cutting-edge technology to conduct modeling and simulation across diverse workloads.

Your role will encompass the establishment and upkeep of a DevOps framework for these initiatives, covering everything from initial data collection and preprocessing to supporting the infrastructure necessary for building and training AI and Machine Learning models in a research-focused setting.

Your capacity to translate mission requirements into effective technical solutions will be vital in delivering engineering solutions that prioritize customer needs.

As a systems and DevOps engineer within our team, you will have the opportunity to influence the geospatial intelligence mission by participating in or leading a cross-functional team dedicated to accelerated computing.

Your expertise will be trusted not only in architecting and engineering these environments but also in advancing them with innovative technological solutions.

On our team, you will expand your skill set in areas such as DevOps, accelerated computing, GPU processing, and cluster management.

Enhance your abilities by integrating systems engineering, on-premise infrastructure, cloud and virtual architecture, alongside AI and ML frameworks to cultivate a high-performance computing environment.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proficient in managing Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in developing and deploying containerized, GPU-optimized applications using Docker, Singularity, or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with orchestration and cluster management tools such as Slurm, Mesos, or Moab.
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning development tools, including Jupyter, Keras, TensorFlow, MPI, OpenMP, OpenCL, or CUDA.
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Lustre and Infiniband systems, including network configuration and upkeep.
  • Background in deploying systems in both on-premise and cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
  • Experience with RHEL and CentOS administration, as well as ACE cluster management for HPC clusters.
  • Experience supporting environments for massively parallel computation.
  • Familiarity with certification and accreditation processes for containers.
  • Proficient in programming and implementing scientific and physics modeling and simulation algorithms, as well as Big Data and Data Science applications.
  • Experience optimizing applications to utilize AI and ML toolsets.
