SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and overseeing all operational activities; ensures that all functions are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner, adhering to established operational procedures and standards.

Duties And Responsibilities


Plans, organizes, and directs production, administrative, and warehousing activities to achieve or surpass established production targets in a cost-effective manner.

Develops and implements processes that enhance yield and/or improve quality across all warehousing operations.

Conducts workflow analysis and formulates methods for the production team.

Collaborates with managers and supervisors to set production and quality control benchmarks.

Works with customer service management to address all operational customer inquiries and complaints.

Creates, implements, and maintains processes, procedures, and programs aimed at improving safety, productivity, and profitability of operations.

Ensures compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations and company standards.


Guarantees that employees and managers receive necessary safety training and consistently operate in a safe manner; develops and enforces safety programs to minimize accidents and injuries.

Partners with managers to address organizational needs, equipment utilization, and maintenance.


Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to staff; fosters a motivated work environment characterized by trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and ownership.

Ensures availability of operational supplies at all times.

Maintains compliance of warehouse operations with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations.

Prepares all necessary reports and documentation.

Develops, implements, and monitors departmental budgets; manages expenses within approved budget limits.

Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.

Stays informed on overall team activities, identifying issues and taking corrective actions as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees within the warehouse department.

Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.


Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field or equivalent preferred.

Two to four years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Proven ability to supervise and motivate team members.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic understanding of subordinates' duties and tasks.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Capability to manage priorities and workflow.

Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Bilingual skills are a plus.

Ability to comprehend all safety requirements and precautions.

Physical capability to perform necessary labor tasks.

Compensation:
From $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
