We are excited to present a remarkable career opportunity for a Customs Brokerage Operations Supervisor focused on overseeing daily operational management in our Laredo, TX location.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the subject matter expert (SME) for Entry Processing operations, you will ensure your team adheres to DHL's global customer care standards.
- Foster high performance within your team by meeting customer service-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while continuously enhancing the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the local central dispatching team to manage daily freight movements, ensuring workflow efficiency and high customer satisfaction while addressing any escalated issues.
- Provide support to the product and Hub stations by offering expertise, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to enhance DHL's market presence.
Skills / Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of US Customs Brokerage.
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within customs brokerage is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly establish rapport with both clients and DHL Global Forwarding business units.
- Licensed Customs Broker is preferred.
