Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of closing documents, with a focus on 100% on-time delivery and 100% accuracy.
  • Improve department efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Manage and maintain accurate pricing data for raw materials, ensuring that it is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between the Metals, Plastics, and Recycling Department and other departments, such as COE and SAP Development, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide regional closing support to the Mexico MPR Department, including training and supporting associates as they develop SAP closing procedures.
  • Lead department meetings to discuss vendor invoice management, IPR, and other closing-related activities, and assign responsibilities to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Support the creation of department budgets, providing pricing and volume information to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Communicate with management to provide regular updates on key performance indicators, data progress, and any required countermeasures to process failures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or relevant supply chain is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data management, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
