About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to customers throughout the loan and pawn process, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with customer account management, including accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet performance standards, leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities and participating in in-store and community events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build new business, maintain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer information in our Point-of-Sale system.
  • Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on our products and processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous behavior with customers and peers.
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply).
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about freely inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Six months of customer service and/or cash handling experience.
  • Experience in retail, financial services, loans, banking/bank teller, or service industry.
