Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Unit Coordinator to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Apheresis and Outpatient Infusion department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and unit resources in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the Apheresis Nurse Coordinator in the coordination of care provided by the caregiving team.
  • Review patient seating, answer phone calls, schedule patients, and communicate updates to clinical staff.
  • Manage floor stock food supplies and incoming calls.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe environment of care.
