Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Behavioral Therapist to join our team as an Autism Support Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and their families.
Estimated Salary: $28 - $35 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Deliver one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to clients based on individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
- Observe and document client behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
- Attend training sessions and supervision meetings to enhance skills and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- SUPPORT CLIENTS IN DEVELOPING AND ENHANCING COMMUNICATION, SOCIAL, AND DAILY LIVING SKILLS.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment to foster client engagement and progress.
- Implement behavior interventions and data collection procedures as outlined in the client's behavior plan.
Requirements:
- A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development is necessary for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and able to follow detailed instructions.
