Job Summary

As a Medication Aide at Providence Health & Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications and perform prescriber-ordered tasks with precision and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Perform tasks ordered by prescribers, such as vital sign checks and documentation
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements:
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement
  • Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • 1 year experience as a MAC in a healthcare setting
