Benefits Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Specialist to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, addressing questions and concerns about the benefits package.
- Collaborate with plan vendors, third-party administrators, and benefits brokers/advisors to ensure seamless benefits administration.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, disability claims, and accident and death claims.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and others.
- Maintain and document administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Review and process monthly billing for all group plans, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct benefits orientations and support open enrollment, providing training and guidance.
- Collaborate with payroll and financial teams to streamline benefits administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits programs.
- Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Certification in SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS preferred.
- Experience with ADP systems is a plus.
