Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative is a vital member of our team at Proliance Surgeons, Inc. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to patients, vendors, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups, and verify eligibility and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and payment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to facilitate the flow of patients and ensure a smooth clinical experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in a public contact or medical office environment preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The Patient Services Representative will work in a dynamic and fast-paced medical office environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and staff on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume setting.
