As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting departmental activities under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

- Assist in providing care and services to patients and their families under the supervision of the RN, following established emergency protocols.
- Transport patients as instructed.
- Document and communicate all daily activities and care provided, ensuring timely reporting of any significant changes in patient condition.
- Deliver patient care as directed by the RN, which may include tasks such as bed making, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, and providing assistance with feeding and personal hygiene.
- Conduct regular patient rounds as delegated by the RN.
- Respond promptly to unit calls and alarms.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and team members to prioritize patient care and admission processes.
- Maintain inventory and restock supplies as necessary, ensuring adequate levels without excess.
- Keep patient rooms organized and clean, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Participate in educational and quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
- Perform technical skills competently, including glucose monitoring and specimen collection.
- Act as a Patient Safety Attendant when required, ensuring a safe environment for patients.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to enhance care delivery and unit operations.
Qualifications:
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Experience:
- Six months of acute care experience.
- One year of skilled nursing experience.
- Experience in customer service within healthcare may substitute for direct care experience.
- Current enrollment in a recognized registered nursing program may also qualify.
