Position Overview

Title: Crisis Center Clinical Program Supervisor

Reports to: Program Manager/Director of Clinical Operations

Role Objectives:

In collaboration with the Program Manager/Director of Clinical Operations, support the management of Crisis Center Counselors during their designated shifts. In the absence of the Program Manager, the Supervisor will act as the on-site leader, providing both clinical and administrative guidance to the team, while ensuring the effective delivery of services.

Promote a workplace environment that aligns with the organization's Cultural Equity Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical, administrative, and technical oversight to staff handling calls and texts, including counselors and interns. Provide constructive feedback, identify areas for enhancement, and recommend improvements in partnership with the Program Manager.
  • Oversee the delivery of specialized services.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities for one week each month.
  • Monitor and complete necessary data collection, statistical analysis, and program reporting.
  • Facilitate monthly billing processes as required.
  • Ensure operational compliance and adherence to program standards during shifts.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to maintain optimal service delivery.
  • Respond to crisis calls while upholding clinical service standards when necessary.
  • Offer immediate support to team members facing challenges during calls and address escalated inquiries professionally.
  • Initiate debriefing sessions for team members after challenging interactions.
  • Maintain and oversee resource directories.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and team in managing caller interactions that require supervisory intervention.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training new staff and provide ongoing supervision and coaching.
  • Ensure service levels are met and operations run smoothly during assigned shifts.
  • Work with the Program Manager to develop and implement training requirements and program updates.
  • Adhere to confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.

Additional Responsibilities:

The duties outlined are intended to provide a general overview of the essential functions of the role. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Current license and registration required upon hiring.
  • Preferred: National Provider Identification number.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in assessment, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid Waivers is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems is required.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
