We offer both full-time and part-time shifts, including Days, PM (11A-11P), and Nights, with options for 36 and 40 hours/week (12- or 8-hour shifts).
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 payable after hire. Additionally, we provide Student Loan forgiveness up to $20,000 and Tuition Assistance up to $7,200.
Our RN Referral program offers up to $5,000 for team members.

Major Responsibilities:


Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient needs, develop and implement tailored interventions, and assess the effectiveness of care plans.

Engages patients and their families in care planning and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare journey.

Recognizes and anticipates significant changes in patient conditions, providing ongoing assessments and taking appropriate actions as necessary.

Adjusts care plans as needed, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care.

Implements strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risks. Assesses readiness to learn and customizes educational approaches for patients and families.
Coordinates discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach. Applies evidence-based practices in patient care delivery. Consistently integrates nursing and regulatory standards into practice.

Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking necessary actions when changes are required.

Supports shared governance initiatives aimed at improving processes and patient outcomes.
Exhibits effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution skills. Fosters collaboration among healthcare team members. Takes on a leadership role within the care team and delegates tasks appropriately to unlicensed personnel.
Promotes a culture of safety by identifying potential threats to patient safety and intervening to prevent harm. Reports safety events and near misses promptly. Actively seeks to identify safety issues and assists in implementing corrective measures.
Applies ethical decision-making, demonstrating respect and understanding for colleagues and other clinical disciplines. Participates as a vital member of the patient care team to create an integrated, unbiased, individualized care approach.
Engages in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental functions and the patient care experience.

Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients.

Must possess an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan and be able to assess data reflective of patient status, interpreting the necessary information to identify each patient's age-specific needs and provide appropriate care as outlined in departmental policies.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice, and
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education Required:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Experience Required:
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Certification Addendum:
Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications (e.g., DNV, CARF, or others).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.

Must be able to:
Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
Lift up to 20 lbs. overhead.
Carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.

Must be able to:
Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
Perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with assistance.
Position requires use of foot pedals on carts or machines.
May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste, as well as blood and body fluids and communicable diseases. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be utilized as necessary.

Must possess functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch, with the ability to perform fine motor skills for IV insertion and other procedures.

Operates all necessary equipment to perform the job.
